Setting Goals

Even though I have objectives and know the general direction I want to go into, what I want to do, what I love to do, most importantly what I don’t particularly enjoy doing, the industry (online and technology), domain (helping people), I never set the final target of my journey. I’ve been thinking about it for a while and I know now what it is:

I want to do something worth of a TED speech. A TEDx as a first step and the original TED as the second. Ever since the first time I saw a TED conference, I’ve been dying to participate in one, to meet the speakers, to feel the knowledge first-hand, to understand how they got there and the troubles they went through. That desire turned into wanting to be one of them, and that is my objective, as declared today, April 23rd, 2014, 9:38 am.

As per which speakers I’d like to meet:

  1. Sir Ken Robinson
  2. Malcom Gladwell
  3. Elizabeth Gilbert
  4. Elif Shafak

And one of the best TED conferences ever, that changed my life (the book, Stumbling on Happiness, is even better than the speech):
